Prepare For A Party’ - Klopp Sends Message To Liverpool Fans After Trophy Presentation

Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to Liverpool fans who could not be present during the presentation of their Premier League trophy after a 5-3 win against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Reds were presented with the Premier League trophy for the first time at Anfield following their impressive 2019-2020 campaign where they ended up winning the league with seven games remaining.

Klopp was quick to hail his men after the trophy presentation, insisting he is proud of what they have achieved in a year.

"We are champions - it's the truth. We won four trophies, big ones,” the former Borussia Dortmund boss told reporters.

“I couldn't be more proud. Usually I don't need pictures with something but I will have a picture with all four trophies, it doesn't happen too often."

Football is now played behind closed doors due to the threat of the Coronavirus pandemic . Klopp has enjoined the fans to stay home and celebrate their first league title in 30 years.

The German coach added: "If you don't see that we do it for you I can't help you. You made us happy, we all should celebrate at home.”

“Prepare for a party and when this sh***t virus has gone we will have a party."

Liverpool sign off for the season with a game against Newcastle United at the St. James’ Park on Sunday.
